A new THE AGONIST e-card is now available, featuring video messages from vocalist Alissa White-Gluz discussing the meaning behind each track on the band's debut CD, "Once Only Imagined", along with their first music video for the track "Business Suits and Combat Boots", shot by renowned director David Brodsky (ALL THAT REMAINS, GWAR, THE RED CHORD). "Once Only Imagined" tackles some of society's biggest issues, including animal testing, drug abuse, eating disorders, environmental protection and man's inhumanity towards man and animals. The band's ultimate goal, though, is simply to encourage people to think for themselves.
THE AGONIST is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about new artists within the genre due primarily to an unrelenting touring schedule playing alongside such diverse acts as ENSLAVED, EPICA, SONATA ARCTICA and OVERKILL. Look for them to remain on the road through the end of the year.
THE AGONIST recently announced the addition of second guitarist Andrew Tapley to the group's ranks.
